Sailing

One of my great loves in life is sailing–however, since I left the West Coast I really haven’t gotten a chance to do any racing, largely due to the fact that I have not made any effort to get involved with programs out here. Until now! I just added myself to to NYC Crew Finder web page: www.nycsailing.com, so hopefully I will be sailing again soon. And here is a bit of my sailing profile:

My mom taught me how to sail in a Butterfly on Crystal Lake in Northern (lower) Michigan. I started racing (a little) with the Crystal Lake Yatch Club in Butterflys, a few times in M.C.’s and in E-Scows.

Then I got to College and started racing with the UC Santa Cruz Team–in Flying Juniors. I mostly raced Varsity A womens– as crew.

So that was a pretty short story–even though it covers most of my life. I hope it gets longer… soon (both my life and this story…) :) How about more pictures (click to enlarge!):
