I would love to blame my lack of posting on the new project Kelsey and I are working on. However that is not at all the case. I’ve just had nothing to say. It has been frustrating. Hopefully I will feel inspired again soon. In the mean time here is a video of Bert & Ernie that makes me laugh:
I *love* when I find new things to love. And this Etsy find is so sweet and spring-y feeling that it feels appropriate to share it today. (PS-the sun came out at last, and has slightly improved my mood since the morning disappointment…)

Ah, the first day of Spring, a day I look forward to with wild abandon for months and months. A day when I long to awake and throw open my shades to be greeted by brilliant blue skies and warm, bring sunshine. To brand new leaves peaking out on all the trees, and flowers bursting into life from the bulbs that have hibernated all winter long. I should be serenaded by the joyous songs of the birds celebrating, because the sun has finally caught up, the days are once again just as long as the nights and there is hope, HOPE for renewal and rebirth. Alas, this was not how the morning went. Instead of the Vernal Euphoria I had dreamed of I was greeted with this:
Happy Spring, you live in a snow globe…
During my recent “blog-surfing” escapades I have come across these cool little toys:
Its a self contained screen printing machine! As I have not screen printed since Interlochen circa 1999 (omg- 10 years since Interlochen? How am I so old?) I am unsure why I am suddenly struck by the desire to start up again. But I assume it is along the same lines as my sewing machine dream from last summer–I believe I am in desperate need of a creative outlet. However- it is probably best to find one that will not cost me upwards of $150, no matter how fun it looks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJzkhfWwrXM
Today is Pi day. Like ∏ = 3.14, I think that may actually be nerdier than my March 4th joke.
I’m trying to get better at photography. I find turning off my flash helps.
The ever inspiring design*sponge led me to discover this today:
Yes, I know.. another Esty poster print, this one by Christopher Betting. But look how cute! And I love how he has it displayed in a wood hanger. Such a cute idea–and it is not just for the Esty display! He has them like that in his home. Which is where I spotted the print, in design*sponge’s Sneak Peek.
I am in love with that room. The simple, clean colors are so nice, and all the light coming in–beautiful. I want my living/work room to look just like that!
So I blame my lack of posting this week on the hour I lost to Daylight Savings Time. Well-that and a weekend full of snowboarding and birthday celebrations. And being busy busy busy at work (good news…) The combination has just exhausted me.
My big news for the week: I got accepted to the Fashion Instiitute of Technology– for the Advertising and Marketing Communications one year, nights and weekends, Associates Degree program. That’s a mouthful! Looks like I’m gonna be pretty busy come September.
