Why JuneBug? Let’s start out with the most obvious–my birthday, June First. Born in the month of the rose and the pearl, the start of summer, a Gemini. And June has always been a huge month for me. Marking the start of summer, it brought about the annual summer trip to Michigan. All of my Graduations have been in June. And every June I seem to move… In short June is always the start of something for me. A new beginning (no matter how much I hate them), new hope…. and consistently so. June is always something to look forward to, and dream about.
And who am I? A 24 year old who, 3 years ago in June (bien sÛr), left my golden home state of California and moved to New York City. Now I am just trying to figure out what I’m doing here. Currently I am employed by DwellStudio, and I live in Washington Heights with my puppy. And in the Fall I’m going back to school- at FIT!
